We are holding virtual storytimes with Ms Mo for young children every week on facebook! Find our storytimes here:
There’s always fun going on in the children’s department!
We offer a variety of programs after school and throughout the summer. Look for upcoming special events on the main calendar.
A lap-sit story time for children ages birth to three. Stories, poems and songs! Wednesdays at 10:30
Preschool Story Time!
A weekly story time for children ages three to six: stories, songs and poems followed by a theme related craft! Wednesdays at 11:00!
Youth Book Groups
Our Homeschool Book Group, for kids around the ages of 8-14, reads one book every month during the public school year. We meet on the third Friday of the month to discuss the book and have some fun!
Youth Writer’s Group meets every other Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 during the school year.
This group is for independent writers who are enthusiastic about writing and playing games to do with words, writing, and creativity. Bring your stories and poems to share, and get ready to have fun!
Parental Note: Participants can be aged anywhere from 7 to 18, but must be able to write independently enough to require only minimal help. Unfortunately Ms. Mo is not able to act as a writing teacher during writer’s group. She is very willing to help with spelling and grammar questions, but brand new writers will quickly get frustrated without enough one-on-one help.
Offered each month for children and teens!
