Our regular children’s programming is suspended during the Covid-19 pandemic. Since we do not generally do registrations for programs, or have any way of knowing who is coming and how many people may arrive, planning in-person programs in our space is nearly impossible. We’ll try to think outside the box and bring some fun back when we can!
We will have grab-and-go crafts available every week in the children’s room! Stop by to pick up supplies for a craft you can do at home when you come in to pick up books, or make an appointment to pick them up curbside!
Children’s Rooms Appointments
The library is open part time for walkthrough service, but things are still a little different. We are open so that people can choose books, dvds, magazines, and video games, and check them out to enjoy at home. There is no seating in the library (except for computer use) and all of the toys and games have been put away. Our lovely children’s room is big– but it’s made up of small spaces. For now, the children’s room is open by appointment during our open hours to one family at a time, for 30 minutes. Call ahead to be sure that the space is available before you head out for your visit! You can also request books to pick up curbside, or request a grab-bag of books on a certain topic or interest area if coming inside is too complicated.
